How I spent nap time

The majority of people responded in favor of charts to my question of whether charts or written out patterns were preferred. Well, there must be something to them then so this is how I spent Owen's nap time today (sorry for the crappy picture):

I finished, washed, and blocked the swatch so it is time to start the sweater! I'll let you know if I convert to chart reading...

Wow, do I understand the title of your post! Some of my most productive time in the day is when my son is taking the nap! ha ha...

Have you seen second DVD "knitting workshop"? Was it useful? I'm working on seamless yoke sweater and thinking about buyind those DVD's. Do those DVD's make any difference from book? Or the book is enough?

You can do it! It's so worth it. It's sorta reminds me of learning to type the right way. Takes a lot of thought and some frustration to learn, but when you're done you're so much faster than you could ever be before!
Good luck either way. I can't wait to see the swatch.
