I am a huge fan of Anne of Green Gables. During my preteen and teen years I read all that L. M. Montgomery had written, but the Anne series was by far my favorite; especially the first book. It's the sort of book you just want to live in. I was fortunate enough one year to influence my family's vacation destination with a memorable week spent enjoying the beauties of Prince Edward Island as well as the tacky tourist traps (Marilla's Pizza anyone?).
I also love the 1985 tv movie of the book starring Megan Follows. I was watching it for the gazillionth time last year, but my first time with a knitter's eye. There is some really nice knitwear in the movie. There is one cardigan in particular that caught my attention. It's a blue raglan with a lace pattern running down from the shoulders on the front.
Here it is (images captured from youtube):
I decided I would try to recreate it. Here is my swatch made with yarn purchased at Rhinebeck last year. With any luck I'll find time to start it soon!

What a cute sweater! It'll look great.
Nicole and I were watching Anne of Green Gables over the weekend and there was your sweater! It really is lovely. Good luck trying to replicate it! There really are lots of wonderful pieces of knitwear in the program when you start looking for them.
